The climate in this area of la Costa Caribe Colombiana is generally settled with consitant sunny days and cooling afternoon breezes during the months from july to november you should expect some rain, however it mainly falls during the night and any clouds usually quickly give way to clear skies. El Porvenir is situated inthe Gulf of Morisquillo on the border of the Municipities of Cordoba and Sucre less than four kilometeres from the Center of the popular resort town of Coveñas, sucre and just 8 kilomters from the bustling costal town of San Antero Cordoba. From most of Colombia's major cities you can reach El Porvenir in a touch over 2 hours with many direct flights to Monteria from Medellin, Bogota and Cali etc, there also flights from Medellin to Tolu. Google flights are higly reccommned for finding low cost flights with flexible travllers able to find return flights from major cities for prices starting at 200,000 COP. It is possible to arrive travel bus from Cartagena in under 3 hours. From Monteria airport the journey is a little over an hour or around 40 minuites from Tolu. There are regualr buses from both Monteria and Tolu and mobile Uber type apps such as indriver are a popular choice for travelers in this region of Colombia's Caribbean coast.
